Raymond began
working in the film industry in 1961 while serving in the U.S. Air
Force. He was stationed in Orlando with the 1365th Photo Squadron
where he gained experience in printing, processing, and negative and
positive assembly. In 1969 he served a tour of duty in Vietnam with
the 600th Photo Squadron where he processed and timed film.
For the next fifteen years, Raymond worked for Film Lab services,
Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio as a timer for color negative and color
reversal. He was also trained in cueing and punching tapes. In 1985
WRS Motion Picture and Video Laboratory in Pittsburgh, PA hired
Raymond to color time 16mm and 35mm color negatives, color reversal,
and black and white nitrate films. He also assisted in setting up
a LAD system for quality control and has extensive training on Hazeltine,
Kodak, and P-Vac color analyzers.Raymond joined CineFilm in 1993
and is a vital asset to the team. He has maintained his excellent
reputation as one of the country's premier film timers. In his spare
time, Raymond can be found enjoying the great outdoors while fishing
and hunting, two of his favorite pastimes
