“It was a pleasure working for the first time with Cinefilm on this feature. I loved your work! Your HD dailies looked much closer to a final look than most of my LA and NY labs. Since this was my first WB feature, Diane made me look great from day one to the studio. We had to do a lot of stock tests and lens tests and you guys were always going the second mile to make it work for us. I guess it’s just part of that old ‘Southern Hospitality.’ Thanks y’all. “

Penny, the footage is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Seriously, this is
incredible stuff. The framing of the shots is perfect and the colors! Whoever did
the transfer, the colors just leap off the screen. It's just incredible.
From Penny Benatovich, Producer at Creative Works
from her client at Animal Planet.
As a producer it's hard finding
people or companies that you can completely trust. Fortunately,
I can trust CineFilm/CineTransfer. Their attention to detail
is tremendous. I can make a casual call or an emergency call
and be guaranteed that I will get an immediate response back.
Other companies, I've waited for days for people to return
my call. I don't have time to wait for days, I barely have
hours. I can contact the people at CineFilm and get immediate
bid information, scheduling information, and even get calls
back from the colorist about certain issues that relate to
the production.
As a director, I have total confidence
in their colorists. Enough confidence that when I need to,
I can actually call in my art direction and ideas and get
what I want, sometimes even better. More often than not, I'll
go in knowing exactly what I want, and get it, but there are
times I have gone in drawing a blank, still looking for that
extra artistic edge to enhance what the pictures are saying-that's
when Ron offers me creative ideas, not formulaic elements,
but ideas that relate specifically to my project.

Ron, I so very enjoyed
working with you. You're a true artist and a genuine pleasure. And the color!!! I love it!!! Thank
you!!! I couldn't be happier!!!
Terry Allen, a world famous visual
artist, and a good friend of mine, (his wife, Jo Harvey played
Momma in the movie).. .anyhow, he was blown away by the color
and the bleach bypass process. He notices everything on that
level and I was just ecstatic by his spontaneous feedback.

Ron, I just finished three days
of offline on the PA Tourism - Golf project. I wanted to thank
you for the nice job you did with the dailies, which is actually
a continuation of the good work that you have consistently
done. Amy and I never have a problem recommending CineFilm
because of the great service we always get.

"Hello Jim, This is Steve Allen
from Chromatoast Studios in Portland, Maine. I wanted to say
thank you very much for the excellent job on both processing
and transfer on both projects for me. I want to send a special
thanks to John Petersen. He did a second pass on a piece I
wanted to play around with a little bit. He did exactly the
perfect thing. It really looks dynamite. I really appreciate
you guys going the extra mile for me, making me look good
and making my clients look good. So, everybody is very, very
pleased. Thank you very much, and continue doing great work.
I really like doing business with you guys. It's great, you
know, we are far away [from your lab], but for me having such
a valuable resource that I can communicate to you over the
phone [is helpful]. You guys hit it on the head every time.
I'm very, very happy. Thank you very much!"

Dear Ron,
I would like to take a moment to
thank you for the service and talent you provided during my
most recent film transfer.
I hope you know how much I appreciate
your incredible skill and enthusiasm, not just on this job
but over the past several years. As a commercial director,
I have had the opportunity to work with colorists all over
the country. It is my experience and opinion that you are
at the very top of the pack. I have come to depend on your
complete and thorough knowledge of all phases of the process:
the film, the machinery, the image and the aesthetics. The
contributions you have made to my work are substantial. I
consider myself fortunate to have you as part of my process,
and look forward to our continued friendship and working relationship.
If I can ever be of any assistance please do not hesitate
to ask.
